Welcome to the Orillia Farmers' Market
"Get your Boots to the Roots". The Orillia Farmers' Market is one of the longer-running farmers' markets in the province, with its roots going back to 1842 at the waterfront. In 1872, this Market operated on a parcel of land turned over for the use of local farmers, at what turned out through time to be the main downtown intersection and the location of the community's Opera House and Public Library.

SUPPORT OUR LOCAL FARMERS
The Farmers' Market continues to proudly boast of its range of locally produced foods, handmade crafts from around the county and regularly scheduled special events for the family. Our growers look forward to Saturdays on the Market, where they offer fresh-picked produce in season, and naturally raised meats, with a variety of baked goods and ready-to-eat treats in a sociable atmosphere. Bring your family, meet your friends, get to know the vendors, enjoy the local musicians in the Market Cafe. Treat yourself to one of the tasty lunch menu items
